AI-Powered Wealth Advisory Services for a Client from the USA
About The Client
The client is a financial services organization in the USA that wants to improve its wealth advising platform with scalable cloud-based infrastructure and AI wealth management. The platform is required to provide personalized advice experiences with strong security, control, and human monitoring.
Project Objective
The project intended to develop a secure and scalable platform, which would be able to:
- Deliver personalized AI financial planning experiences.
- Allow interactive portfolio and financial scenario analysis.
- Help advisors get AI-based client insights and recommendations.
- Provide one back-end to power online, mobile, advisor, and partner channels.
- Implement responsible AI controls pertinent to regulated financial services.
Project Details
Bloom designed and built an entirely serverless, AWS-native infrastructure to deliver the client’s AI-powered wealth management solutions. Amazon API Gateway provided a secure access point for several client channels. Modular AWS Lambda functions were used for onboarding, planning goals, portfolio simulations, and AI-powered explanations.
The generative AI layer was Amazon Bedrock, which orchestrated foundation models to generate personalized plan narratives, scenario comparisons, and adviser summaries.
Important Steps
- Created a serverless backend with Amazon Lambda and Amazon API Gateway.
- Integrated Amazon Bedrock so it can use generative AI in wealth management.
- Created customized financial plan explanations and interactive “what-if” scenarios.
- Drafted AI-generated adviser briefs, although human advisors remained involved in final decision-making and played a vital role.
- Centralized configuration with AWS AppConfig and Parameter Store.
- Used AWS Secrets Manager for storing sensitive credentials.
- Installed monitoring and tracing with Amazon CloudWatch and AWS X-Ray.
- Applied tailor-made AI validation to avoid guarantees, unsubstantiated claims, and non-compliant outputs.
Engagement Model
Bloom has been a distinguished technical partner in creating AI solutions for wealth management companies, integrating cloud architecture, generative AI, security, and responsible AI practices.
It was designed to be based on AWS security practices in the financial services area, and IAM, encryption, centralized logging, and audit trails, as well as Bedrock Guardrails, were used to create proper governance of AI-driven financial experiences. This approach also established the groundwork for scaling AWS AI solutions as the client’s platform matures.
